“Tailored Rehabilitation That Adapts to You.”
No two injuries, or bodies, are the same. That’s why we never take a one-size-fits-all approach to rehabilitation at Bea’s Sports Injury Clinic. Your recovery plan is built entirely around how your body responds.
We begin with a detailed postural assessment, observing how you stand, sit, and move to identify any imbalances or compensation patterns that may have caused, or resulted from, your injury. For example, foot pain might be altering the way you walk, putting extra strain on your knee, hip, or back. We also consider if postural issues elsewhere could be the original cause of your foot injury.
Next, we carry out physical and orthopaedic tests, using movement and palpation to pinpoint affected structures and locate the source of pain.
We assess your range of motion, including muscular flexibility, joint mobility, and movement through active, passive, and resisted tests. This gives us a deeper understanding of the injury and how best to treat it.
From here, we create a fully customised rehabilitation plan, which may include massage, acupuncture, dry needling, stretching, or other techniques. We continually adapt your treatment based on your progress and feedback. So please speak up if you notice changes along the way.
Recovering from injury can be challenging, but with our expert support, you’ll be back to doing what you love as soon and as safely as possible.
